1. Garadia Mahadev
Garadia Mahadev is one of the most beautiful place in Kota that can be visited throughout the year.
But during monsoon you will be awestruck by its beauty.
It is popularly known as the place where Chambal river smiles back to its people. It is one the best place to visit in Kota during monsoon.
You will witness too many waterfalls on the island that is visible from Garadia Mahadev ( the one you see in the image above).
The greenery, smiling river and the beautiful fresh smell of earth will just strike your happy nerve and you will be left admiring the beauty of this place.
2. Geparnath Waterfall
Geparnath waterfalls are another gem located just 4 km from RTU kota on Rawatbhata road that will make you spellbound by its beauty.
The vast mountain rock got cut by flowing water over the years revealed this place. A tranquil place nestled in the hills is best visited during monsoon.
Make sure to go with a few of your friends as this place is really located deep into the woods and don’t irritate the monkeys, you never know what’s going in there mind.
3. KST ( Kishore Sagar Talab)
KST is an evergreen place for the people of Kota to spend their evenings at.
But Monsoon works as an icing on the cake, the environment becomes so romantic as well as energetic.
If you are in Kota during monsoon, this place needs to be visited for sure.
4. Kota Barrage
This place is one of the most loved place of the locals of Kota during monsoon.
And there is no reason you can blame them. Just look at this place.
When the weather is just so romantic, the way up the barrage is filled with smell of corns put on fireplace.
The gates of Dam are opened and the view is just so terrifying as well as beautiful at the same time.
Chimneys of the thermal also adds to its beauty.

5. Abheda Mahal
Safely located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This place needs to be in the list of place to visit in kota during monsoon.
This place has a very different feel that you can’t escape from. When you enter through the main gate it seems like a very normal garden but then once you start exploring its parts.
It turns out to be a mystery in itself. There is a small pond with a bridge on it to cross over to the other side.
Then there is a huge building that is almost empty from inside there are only windows that overlook a big pond full of lotus. It is said to be the hunting ground for the rulers of Kota, it indeed surprised me with its unique architecture.
In case of beauty it is no less. So surely do visit it.
Rawatbhata is a small peaceful town, the one from the fairy tale surrounded with hills and paddy fields on both sides of the clean roads,fragrance of flower everywhere, less populated, and only crowded with buffaloes not honking vehicles.
It is located just 45 Km from Kota but I highly recommend this place to visit during monsoon and I can bet over this, You will fall in love with it.
If you love nature, wildlife and less crowded place. I can’t tell you a better place than this in whole of Rajasthan.

7. Bhainsrorgarh Village
Bhainsrorgarh village is an amazing escape from kota during monsoon just at a distance of 7 kms from Rawatbhata.
This village will take your heart away in every sense.
I had been there only once but I long to visit there very soon.
If you are in Kota during monsoon, do visit this place at least once and you will thank me.

Rameshwar Mahadev Waterfall
Just 12 Km from the main city of Bundi lies this calm place, nestled among the aravali hills.
